Maidan Palace Hotel, Kyiv

The hotel is superb, extremely clean, warm, and comfortable. Rooms are clean and comfortable, nice and quiet at night despite being close to the road. However, the temperature cannot be regulated.

The hotel had a mixed experience with enjoyable aspects like spacious rooms that come with nice amenities such as robe and slippers, though the service had some letdowns like blocking a paid guest from the room. The location offered modern surroundings and helpful staff, but dining options were a bit overpriced with limited choices.

The hotel's location is perfect, just meters beside Independence Square, making it ideal to explore Kiev. The rooms offer modern amenities like underfloor heating and a high-tech lighting system, although they could use some refreshing. Service was very helpful, although not always with a big smile from most. The dining experience was satisfactory, with good food options to keep you satisfied. While the lobby is quite standard, the surprise of heated floors in the bathroom added a luxurious touch to the stay.
